Casino Tycoon 2 is a sequel to Casino Tycoon. The film was made in 1992 in Hong Kong, and is an action drama like the previous one, written, produced and directed by Wong Jing and starring Andy Lau and Chingmy Yau.
Andy Lau, who rose from poverty in the first film to become a real estate and casino mogul, continues in his role in Casino Tycoon 2 as the owner of casinos in Macau, Benny Ho. This long and complicated crime story takes place some eighteen years after the time of the first film.

Ho becomes involved in a plot that will destroy his family. Ho meets the beautiful actress Ti Yun, and begins an affair. There are also problems that arise with his former partner Nieh. His wife encourages him to pursue a relationship with the soap star Chrung Man. There is a host of scheming casino workers, and some greedy blackjack players lead to unrest.
